New Microgaming HTML 5.0 Mobile Slots

We seem to have posted an awful lot of news items lately reporting on the development and deployment of various mobile slot platforms. This latest piece of news concerns Microgaming, arguably the world's leading online slot developer, and several new HTML 5.0 enabled video slot games it has just launched.

The latest two offerings to make their way to the Microgaming HTML 5.0 mobile slot platform are the popular Spring Break and Ladies Nite video slots, both of these online slot games have been redeveloped using HTML 5.0, and launched on the Microgaming mobile slots platform, and are playable using any modern web browser.

HTML 5.0 is a web browser technology which offers graphics and sound which are almost on a par with downloadable online casino software, and indeed we think that eventually we will see full-blown HTML 5.0 applications replacing both Flash instant play slots, and full-blown downloadable online casino applications.

This statement confirms our belief that Microgaming is targeting mobile video slots as the current hot trend in online gambling, and we cannot disagree with this as we see more and more online casino operators begin to deploy mobile slot applications. Microgaming currently make around 75 online slot games available for mobile play, many of these use legacy technologies, and we fully expect to see Microgaming begin to redevelop existing mobile slots to take advantage of HTML 5.0, and the many benefits which moving to this development platform can bring. We will keep a close eye on Microgaming in the coming weeks, as we are sure that we will see more HTML 5.0 online slots released by the company very soon, as this is sure to be a hot ticket when it comes to attracting new online casino operators to the Microgaming brand.
