New Online Slots Tournaments

The International Slots League is a very official sounding name. In truth, it is a loose affiliation of online casinos, who have gotten together to organise regular online slots tournaments. Don’t be fooled into thinking this is some kind of official non-profit making organisation, it isn’t but that doesn’t necessarily make it bad, just a bit naughty for trying to paint such a picture.

The International Slots League regularly organises online slots tournaments, and it has just announced plans for the coming series. Platinum Play Casino is somehow involved in all of this, but to what level isn’t quite clear. However, there is definitely $40,000 in prize money up for grabs. So despite the fact we actually think this is a marketing ploy, disguising nothing more than a typical online casino free tournament, there is still money to be won.

Not every online slot makes up part of the tournament series. However, the good news is that some major popular online slots are on the tournament list including Tomb Raider (one of our favourites), Ladies Night and Thunderstruck. These are all progressive jackpot machines, so playing in the tournament also grants players a chance to scoop a big progressive win.

Platinum Play Casino has been quite vocal about these tournaments, and has stated that they are offering cash prizes “unrivalled in the online casino history.” Again, we think this is going a little too far with the marketing hype, as $40,000 is hardly a significant sum when we see multi-million dollar progressive jackpots being paid out almost every month. But $40,000 is $40,000 and it’s worth playing for.

Several online casinos are taking part in these slots tournaments, although we don’t have the definitive list just yet. The tournaments take several different formats such as sit and go and single shot.
