Pacific Interactive Launches New Online Slots

March 24, 2012

We have often stated that we believe that social gaming and online slots have a place together, and that we believe that either existing online casino operators will make their online sots more social, or current social game developers will move into the online casino market.

So we find it pretty interesting to see Pacific Interactive expanding its range of social slots within its flagship product House of Fun, which is a Facebook online slots casino, a fun play casino, but one which could readily be converted into a full blown online casino in its own right. The three new online slots launched by Pacific Interactive this week are Roller Girl, Bug Mania and Secret of the Nile. Each of these is a graphically impressive online slot equal in quality to those developed by the likes of Microgaming and Playtech, yet each is free to play.

Now consider the fact that House of Fun, a free to play Facebook online slots casino has had over 700,000 players in its first month, and has had a total of 1.3 million players since it was launched just a month ago, and you can see why we believe that it will not be long before social online slots operators decide to cash in and make the move to full online casino status.

Add to this the fact that House of Fun has been growing at a rate of 120,000 new players every month, and we can definitely say that Pacific Interactive could pull in some major cash if they were able to make the move from free to play to pay to play.

Let’s not forget that Zynga, the largest social gaming developer in the world has already stated that it is evaluating the online casino market with a view to launching its own casino product away from social networking platforms such as Facebook and Google+.

The more we see, the more we are sure that by the end of 2013 online slots will be moving in an entirely new, much more socially enabled direction.
