Playtech Wins Four Awards

The annual eGR B2B Awards took place a few days back, in London, in the UK. The eGR B2B Awards are a yearly event that sees online gambling related companies given awards for excellence, innovation and other categories.

At this year’s eGR B2B Awards, online casino software developer Playtech has scooped a pretty impressive number of four separate awards. The eGR B2B Awards that were won by Playtech were: Best Bingo Network of the Year, Best Slot Provider of the Year, Best Poker Network of the Year and Best Bingo Supplier of the Year. These are all pretty prestigious rewards, and represent an outstanding result for Playtech.

Shimon Akad, VP of Operations for Playtech, has said that, "It is a tremendous honour to win these awards at the eGR B2B Awards and be recognised by the global online B2B gaming community for the innovative work that our business experts have been doing. Innovation has always been key to Playtech's success and we aim to continue to innovate and provide our licensees with solutions that will help them be more profitable."

Well of course Playtech is happy about the result. It is one of the major online gambling companies in the world, and certainly one of the top online gambling software developers. But we have to say that Playtech beat off some pretty heavy completion to win these awards, so we are not slighting the achievement in any way, it’s pretty impressive.

According to Playtech, the eGR B2B Awards are, "Dedicated to naming the best service providers and B2B operators in the online gaming industry while setting the standards of excellence for all online gaming products.”

We have to agree, the eGR B2B Awards are one of the major online gambling events of the year, with many online casino providers competing for these impressive awards. Indeed, it is a crying shame that there are not more internationally recognized online gambling awards, the competition would be good for the industry. However, for the time being, it is nice to see a major company such as Playtech wining these awards. Playtech has a reputation for producing great online casino software, so it deserved to win these eGR B2B Awards this year.
