A griffin is a creature straight out of myth. Supposedly part lion and part eagle. Think of a lion with an eagle’s head and wings and you are visualizing a griffin. Griffin are usually portrayed as being golden in color, and are traditionally the guardians of treasures stashes. Wild Symbol:

The wild symbol feature of Great Griffin is something a little special. Forget boring old wild symbols which simply spin in across a win line. With the Great Griffin online slot, the griffin itself flies in across the screen, slashing its talons at the reels as it flies past them. This turns some normal symbols (or possibly none) into wild symbols.

Scatter Symbol:

Great Griffin is a 50 win line online slot, so the inclusion of a scatter symbols is pretty sweet. With this many win lines it means that the scatter feature tends to spin in quite frequently. The scatter symbol is the image of the Lady of the Castle, and spinning in three or more of them on any pay line will award a minimum of 5 free spins with a set multiplier (more on that below).

Free Spins:

When it comes to free spins, Microgaming has hit the mark with Great Griffin. Where other online slots might award a 5x multiplier on free spins, Great Griffin can award up to a 10x multiplier. Bonus Round:

The bonus feature is triggered by the scatter symbols, but the bonus feature is only activated on reels 2, 3 and 4. When activate the bonus feature allows the player to pick a symbol, which is then uncovered. If the player uncovers a Pick Again symbol, then they pick again, if they uncover a Win All symbol, then they win everything they have picked so far. Additionally, if the bonus feature was activated during free spins, the free spin multiplier will be applied.
